Roots Monthly Membership Cancellation Policy
Roots is an individual online course and coaching program. You agree you are purchasing an ANNUAL membership and you're committing to 12 monthly installments of $37. If you cancel within this time period, your cancellation fee will be calculated by subtracting what you've already paid from $299.
Example: You've paid for four months of membership and now want to cancel. Your cancellation fee would be as follows:
- What you've paid: $37 x 4 months = $148
- $299 - $148 = $151 Cancellation Fee

Refund Fees
When we process a payment, we are charged fees by a card processor. Typically we pay a per transaction fee, and a percentage of the total payment. When we issue a refund, these fees are not refunded back to us. Depending on the refund request, we reserve the right to withhold the fees associated to accepting your payment which you are requesting a refund for.
Example: You made a $35 payment.
- We incur a $0.30 transaction fee.
- We incur a 2.9% fee on the overall charge. ($35 x 2.9% = $1.02
- $0.30 + $1.02 = $1.32 (This is the amount withheld from your requested refund.)
