The Road Less Traveled

If you're reading this blog, chances are you're looking to better your finances. I want to applaud you on taking that step. It's hard to go outside the norm of debt and overspending. Your friends and family may think you're crazy—even call what you're doing weird. But don't let that phase you. Weird is good.

In our world, debt has become normal. Being normal is boring. Day in and day out, we go to jobs we hate and make barely enough money to get by. What kind of life is that? It's not. You were not put on this earth to just pay bills and die. So congratulations on reading this post and deciding that you want more out of life.

Trust me. This journey won't be easy. You won't have your friends and family to help you along the way. They've never walked down this road before. It's all on you. You're the MVP to your finances. There will be times you'll want to quit. You may even cry and scream. But don't give up. You've got this! Don't make your finances take another L.

Stay the course and you'll eventually see the light at the end of the tunnel. Your savings will increase, your debt will decrease and you'll find that you have more money to spend on things other than bills. When your confidence in your finances grows, you find that you have confidence in other areas, too. You might find the confidence to pursue your dreams, to leave that job you hate, to share what you've learned with friends and family. When your finances are in order, the possibilities are endless.

Although this road is less traveled, don't be afraid to explore it. If it weren't for the bold and adventurous traveling down roads they had never been on, we'd never get anywhere.
